Our History
Mathison Heating & Air was founded by Jimmy Mathison in May of 1980. Jimmy went to high school in Bastrop and has been active in the Bastrop County community for decades. After graduating high school Jimmy worked for Smith and Fallwell while going to night classes at Austin Technical Institute. Upon his graduation he worked for 9 years at Pott’s Refrigeration until he decided to open Mathison Heating & Air. Receiving plenty of support from the city’s outstanding citizens and contractors, Jimmy was able to build an honest business showcasing the epitome of professionalism. Now in business for 39 years, Mathison’s track record is as golden as ever.
